Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Architect to lead our cloud infrastructure and design scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), possessing a deep understanding of cloud technologies, best practices, and the ability to architect and implement robust, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture Design:
  Architect, design, and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions on both Azure and AWS platforms. Develop and maintain cloud architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Implement Infrastructure as Code principles using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Multi-Cloud Management:
  Manage and optimise infrastructure across both Azure and AWS, ensuring cost-effectiveness and performance.
• Security and Compliance:
  Implement security best practices and compliance measures for cloud environments. Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
• Migration Planning:
  Lead and plan cloud migration initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal resource utilisation. Execute migration strategies for applications and services.
• Performance Optimization:
  Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Implement scaling strategies for dynamic workloads.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security teams. Communicate cloud architecture decisions, plans, and goals to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
  Design and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for cloud-based applications.
• Cost Management:
  Optimize cloud resource utilization to ensure cost-effective solutions. Monitor and manage cloud-related expenses.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing:
  Provide guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions for technical teams. Stay informed about the latest trends, updates, and features in cloud technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with expertise in both Azure and AWS.
• In-depth understanding of cloud computing technologies and services.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
