Responsibilities:

• Cloud Application Development:
  Design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient cloud-native applications on the AWS platform. Leverage AWS services and features for optimal application performance and reliability.
• Kubernetes Orchestration:
  Implement and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes. Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters for high availability and performance.
• Microservices Architecture:
  Architect and develop microservices-based applications, ensuring modularity and scalability. Implement best practices for building containerized microservices.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for automating infrastructure deployment using tools such as AWS CloudFormation.
• DevOps Collaboration:Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and testing. Implement monitoring and logging solutions for application performance analysis.
• Security Best Practices:
  Implement security best practices for cloud-based applications and Kubernetes clusters. Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary measures.
• Optimization and Scaling:
  Monitor and optimise application and infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability. Implement auto-scaling strategies for dynamic workloads.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:Create and maintain documentation for architecture, deployment processes, and best practices. Share knowledge and provide guidance to team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Developer with expertise in Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services, especially EC2, S3, Lambda, and more.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably AWS CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• AWS certifications, especially AWS Certified Developer.
• Familiarity with serverless computing and Lambda functions.
• Understanding of security measures in cloud and Kubernetes environments.
